I pretty much take a bath every single day, sometimes more than once a day. If I'm feeling cold, I take a bath. If I just got home from a long day out, I take a bath. If I have a magazine to read or a book to catch up on, I take a bath. There's really no excuse too small for me to take a bath. And they're not necessarily long baths, just 5-15 minutes in the tub for me to wash away the day and relax.
Here's what I'm currently using in my bathtime routine:
I start by clipping up my long hair with Dry Bar Hold Me Hair Clips. They aren't the cutest thing but boy do they work well for keeping my hair out of the bath water. Two clips gets the job done. If I'm feeling extra fancy, I'll light my Diptyque Mousses candle. I bought this candle two years ago in NYC and I've been slowly burning and savoring it ever since.
I enjoy using bubble bath when I have some on hand, but right now I'm all out so I'm just using bar soap. I'm loving the Velvet Report Lemon and Lavender Bar Soap. It smells so delicious and makes my skin feel super soft. I use it for washing and for shaving (multi-purpose), because I don't really see the need for a specific shaving cream.
After I get out of my bath, I like to put body oil or lotion all over to lock in the moisture. I'm currently using the new EVOLVh Body Butter from their new SmartBody collection. It's thick, super moisturizing, and yeah, it smells incredible! I can't wait to smother my skin with this all fall long.
