Are you tired of going to the nail salon week after week? I know I was! That’s why I decided to start doing my manicures at home. At first I was having flashbacks to all of those times when I've tried to do my own nails and it looked like a 5-year-old had done it! But thankfully I've been able to use some tricks I picked up from my nail technician and apply them at home. Here's how I get the perfect at-home manicure:
Step 1: Clean up your cuticles with Butter's Melt Away.
Step 2: Shape your nails. I like a rounded square shape.
Step 3: Add a base coat and let it dry completely.
Step 4: Paint 2 thin layers of polish with one stroke in the center and one on each side. Let each coat dry for a few minutes.
Step 5: Add a top coat and let nails dry for at least 15 minutes.
