I created Velvet Report to share my love of vegan and cruelty-free beauty and fashion with you. I first became vegan when I was 14 years old, but I always struggled to reconcile those beliefs with my love of beauty and fashion. I'm a hippie who likes to read Vogue! Over the last few years, I worked to get all animal products out of my cosmetics and wardrobe. Through Velvet Report, I want to inspire you to live a vegan lifestyle while still having fun and being stylish. Most importantly, I want us to learn from each other and build a community that supports one another, no matter where you are in the process.
What Velvet Report Stands For
Vegan & Cruelty-Free
All products promoted and sold on velvetreport.com are vegan (free of animal ingredients) and cruelty-free (no animal testing). 100% all the time.
Ethical & Non-toxic
I also strive to find fashion options that are ethical and beauty products that are green/clean/non-toxic. This is an area that I am learning about and growing into, so some of the products that I have do not meet this criteria at this time. But all the beauty products sold on velvetreport.com are completely non-toxic and plant-based.
